… sammelt als Gedächtnis der Stadt und seiner Geschichte wie und was sich in München in Zeiten des Coronavirus verändert. Um das Geschehen und den Alltag zu dokumentieren und Objekte aus ganz verschiedenen Perspektiven zu sammeln, wird Unterstützung gesucht.
GESUCHT WERDEN
Fotografien, Videos oder Texte wie z.B. Aushänge zu Restaurantschließungen, Hygienevorschriften oder Verhaltensregeln und Flugblätter, die die Veränderungen abbilden. Es können aber auch persönliche Erinnerungsstücke und Alltagsgegenstände, Schutzmasken, Fahnen, Tagebücher oder besondere Kleidungsstücke sein, die aus jeder Sicht für das Leben während der Corona-Krise von Bedeutung sind.
Neben Objekten von Privatpersonen sind auch Gegenstände und Unterlagen von Interesse, die das Wirken von Vereinen, Verbänden, Zentren, Initiativen oder Netzwerken in München während der Corona-Krise dokumentieren.
Persönliche Geschichten interessieren und wie die Veränderung der Stadt erlebt wird. Ausgewähltes soll auf der Homepage präsentiert sowie in die Sammlung aufgenommen werden.
Darüber hinaus kursieren in den sozialen Medien unzählige Videoclips, die sich mit der Corona-Pandemie auseinandersetzen. Sie spiegeln die Veränderungen des Alltags und den Umgang der Menschen mit dieser Ausnahmesituation wider. Auf eine meist humorvolle Weise behandeln sie Hamsterkäufe, Quarantänebestimmungen oder die Beschulung der eigenen Kinder zu Hause und geben nicht zuletzt praktische Tipps zum Herstellen von Dingen wie etwa Hefe oder Mundschutzmasken. Es werden auch solche Videos gesucht und das Münchner Stadtmuseum möchte sie auf seiner Website präsentieren.
Wer Teil dieser virtuellen Sammlung werden möchte, möge entsprechende Videos posten unter dem Hashtag #mstmsammeltcorona auf Facebook oder Instagram. Mit etwas Glück findet man seinen Beitrag auf Münchner Stadtmuseum wieder.
Seit dem 12. Mai 2020 öffnet das Münchner Stadtmuseum schrittweise wieder. Es beginnt mit den Sonderausstellungen „Vorbilder / Nachbilder. Die fotografische Lehrsammlung der Universität der Künste Berlin 1850-1930“ und „Ready to go! Schuhe bewegen“.
Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation wird um Kontaktaufnahme via E-Mail gebeten. Bezüglich des Sammlungsaufrufes, gerne auch mit Fotos und ein paar Details zum Fundstück oder Beitrag erbeten.
Munich during the coronavirus outbreak
The Münchner Stadtmuseum has decided to compile a historical record of Munich during the coronavirus outbreak by collecting items that reveal how the city has changed. We need your help in collecting all kinds of objects that we can use to document the pandemic and its impact on everyday life.
We are looking for photographs, videos and written materials that illustrate these changes to our lives, for example restaurant closure notices, public health and behavior guidelines, and flyers. We are also interested in personal mementos and everyday objects, face masks, notices, diaries or items of clothing that you have found particularly significant or life changing during the crisis.
We are not only interested in items from private individuals, but also in objects and documents that can tell us what different clubs, associations, centers, initiatives and networks have been doing in Munich during the pandemic.
We want to hear your story and get your impressions about how the city is changing. We hope to feature some of your contributions on our website and in our collection.
There are countless video clips dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic that are doing the rounds in the social media and on digital networks at the present time. They reflect the changes in everyday life and how people are handling this exceptional situation. Generally made in a humorous way, they look at things like panic buying and quarantine regulations or teaching your own kids at home. Not least, they give practical tips on making things, like yeast or face protection masks.
We are also looking for videos like this and would like to present them on our website. From 12 May 2020, our house will gradually be opening. Primarily we will open the special exhibitions „Photographs from the Berlin University of the Arts 1850-1930“ and „Ready to go! Shoe-motion“ for visitors.
