October 8, 2026: D.J. Trump honors the 4 tech pros: Musk, Brin, Huang, and Su with the
National Medal of Science.
Of course, all four man helped the Donald a lot on his way up. Donald Trump did not miss, at the beginning of his speech, to mention, that his uncle Prof. John George Trumpf (died 1985), an electri-cal engineer, physicist, and MIT professor, helped develop and deploy radar systems for the D-Day invasion. Some people like to profit from the fame of ancestors.
Natürlich haben alle vier Männer Donald Trump auf seinem Weg nach oben sehr geholfen. Donald Trump erwähnte gleich zu Beginn seiner Rede, dass sein Onkel Prof. John George Trumpf (1985 verstorben), ein Elektroingenieur, Physiker und MIT-Professor, an der Entwicklung und dem Ein-satz von Radarsy-temen für die Landung in der Normandie beteiligt war. Manche schmücken sich halt gern mit Ruhm von Vorfahren, den sie selbst nicht eingefahren haben.
By the way: each medal was presented in a box. The recipients left the stage, placed the medal around their necks, and returned. (There was once an unpleasant incident during the awarding of a Freedom Medal.)
